Jim and I are proud to operate a modest breeding program. We feel it's imperative in allowing time for proper socialization of each puppy, so that he or she may blend right into your life. We consider our program a hobby, as Jim and I both have full time professions.
The quality of our dog's lives always come before shows or wins, after all it is at home where we spend most of our time with our dogs. Their show careers are simply a way to express how much we enjoy spending time with them.
Their companionship is irreplaceable, and we can't imagine a better life than the one we share with them day in and day out.

We are Fortunate enough to live on a 5 acre farm where our cane corsi can be first and foremost DOGS.
They enjoy running in the fields, rolling in the mud, chasing balls, jumping in the swimming pools, tackling each other, and playing chase. They crave and enjoy the company of one another, just as much as they enjoy being with us.
Their indoor kennel accommodations are heated in the winter months and cooled with large fans in the summer months.

My experience as a Labor and Delivery nurse has assisted me greatly over the past years of whelping, I am thankful to have this knowledge in providing care for our puppies.
Every litter is whelped in our home where they are provided great care, affection, and individual attention throughout the most critical developmental stages. It is here where they become accustomed to daily routines of a busy household, such as the t.v., vacuum, blenders, and so on. |

Having them near, assists in strengthening of human bonding and allows us to monitor puppy feedings, weight gain, temperature, and our dam's health.
At around 4 weeks of age, the weaning process begins and the puppies are transferred to their own temperature controlled puppy room. Here they learn independence, and social skills among the pack.
The dam will visit frequently for nursing and play sessions. A good mother is invaluable and can be the best teacher for her pups. The old adage "Mother Knows Best" still holds very true. |

|
On days where weather is permitting, the puppies will spend their time romping around a large, fenced play yard full of toys of all sorts. They are a blast to watch as individual personalities are coming forth!
We encourage visitors to assist us with socialization at this stage.

Realizing that not every buyer comes to us with hopes of top billing in the show ring, and of course knowing that this wonderful breed, with the right, responsible owner makes a treasured family companion, therefore we are more than happy to match great owners with great pets!
We welcome your phone calls and emails concerning questions about this outstanding breed and our processes here at StoneRidge Cane Corso. If you would like to visit with us, please call and schedule an appointment.
Because we feel so strongly about the continued socialization of your puppy, we have included required completion of a puppy class, and or obedience class in our guarantee.
